Cognitive dissonance is believing yourself to be a conservative while supporting those who aren’t conservatives.

“Winning” or “losing” an election is irrelevant if those you support have different views than your own.

If Cruz is not elected, I will still have a clear conscience. Can you definitively say the same thing if Trump IS elected?

Cruz is a liar of the worst kind because he pretended to be “the only principled conservative” in the race. He burned “principled to ashes on the altar of winning.

At least Trump has business sense - he’s signed 30,000 paychecks. Ted hasn’t signed even one.

I know my conscience will be clear.

The Republic occasionally needs a Thomas Jefferson, who will speak for liberty and who understand the limits that must be placed on government in order to protect it.

But occasionally the Republic needs a George Washington to win the war.

That is why I, in good conscience, support Donald Trump.
