Ted Cruz's campaign sent a letter to TV stations across South Carolina and Georgia on Tuesday, demanding that they stop airing what it calls "a false attack ad" from the conservative super PAC American Future Fund that goes after the Texas senator on national security.
"The ad falsely claims 'Cruz proposed mass legalization of illegal immigrants.' Ted Cruz has never introduced, outlined, or supported any policy that would give legal status to illegal immigrants," wrote Eric Brown, general counsel to the campaign, in the letter shared with the media. "Indeed, quite the opposite, Ted Cruz led the fight in Congress against legislation written by Senator Rubio, among others, that created legal permanent status for millions of people in the country unlawfully. At least two fact-checks have evaluated this claim and determined it to be false, and others found no evidence to support it."

Common request, at least Cruz didn’t scream I’m going to sue you!!!
SHUT UP LIAR!!
He’s beginning to sound like Mr Please Clap.
I agree, trump is a liar.
Give it up. You are sinking into the abyss with your candidate. I do give you credit for stay on the sinking ship though. Of course Jeb crew is doing the same as you Cruz crew people are doing. Both have the same outcome......dying underwater.
Cruz was not born in the US...having trouble understanding why this is OK. It’s dangerous because it will set a precedent on top of what Obama did.
ROTFLMAO!!!
Like hell he didn’t !!!
American Future Fund is the Iowa based parasite PAC for ethanol. The worst kind of DC crony capitalism.
A REAL lie.
I thought you guys were all about honesty.
Sounds better than Clyde.
Cruz clearly called legalization part of “common sense” immigration reform. He then endorsed “middle ground” compromise several months after the fight was over with the Texas Tribune. 2 years later, his campaign spokesman declared the Texas Tribune contents as accurate, and promoted Cruz’s middle ground legislatin, then, later, denied it but not really denied it when pressed by conservative groups, saying “there will be a conversation after the border is secured about what to do with the illegals already here.” This was Cruz’s line for 9 months straight, until Marco Rubio forced Cruz to repudiate legalization on the campaign stage. Cruz is blatantly lying about his record, and the sad part is, he is protected by many elements of the “conservative” movement.
See my post. The ad is not a lie at all.

Who? Give me an example. Be sure you are correct.
If Trump complains about Cruz ads against him, Trump is labeled thin skinned.
Cruz complains about ads against him, and Cruz is intellectually astute and brilliant.
Go figure!
They just mispronounced LEGAL H1B immigration and it sounded like illegal immigration.
Because he did want massive H1B immigration until just a few months ago when he figured out it was cleaning his clock.
It was a pro-Romney PAC in the past. My bet is that Bush is who it’s trying to help.
