I feel your pain. I paid my legally court ordered child support in the wrong manner said the State. They disallowed my receipts, took me to court and I had to pay back $28K in back support that I already paid. Seems that my ex told the state I wasn’t paying. I thought it was a joke, I had cancelled checks. For those women that think they get the money, WRONG. If you are drawing welfare, food stamps, and medical, the state keeps the money....WOMAN, YOU DUN GOT URS is the legal term I think.
The state will rip off both parents if it can. Contact your State Representative with proof of payments to the state. This is the only recourse I know and I’ve seen it work. It was with great consternation that the State employees had to refund their takings. They actually called and snided “there, are you happy Now?”. They’re all libs and they all believe what’s your’s is their’s.
