I always had the impression that Cheney refrained from speaking up because he felt duty bound as VP to defer to the President and not publicly contradict him. As such, I was willing to cut him some slack while they were in office. However, I agree with you that he should have spoken up once Obama was wreaking his destruction.
On another note, I seem to remember you saying last year you were tired of dealing with the insanity of university PC madness and planned to retire. Did you ever do that, and if so are you enjoying your escape?
