I will always admire Cheney. Gut feeling. I wish he was president.

You are a one issue voter - immigration. Trump is new to your crusade - he’s just taken advantage of voter anger and frustration in this area.

Being POTUS is more than one issue. Recently Trump is sounding more like Michael Moore than any Republican.

I care about more than this one issue, as important as it is. Were Trump to be elected, there is no way 11M people will be deported - all his statements not with standing.

And no, I am not brain dead, nor are the others here and elsewhere who think The Donald is a buffoon. And yes, I will vote for any Republican who is nominated, even this buffoon.

The people supporting Trump are American patriots and anti-GOPe Republicans...

I'm an American patriot and anti-GOPe, but Independent.

The people supporting Trump are also pissed off at the current direction of the country, pissed off at the weakness of our "conservative" leaders that we voted into office on the promise to change the direction of the country, and pissed off that we're allowing political correctness to destroy us.

But, we can't let being pissed off cloud our vision so much that we allow the first person that comes along and taps into that anger whip us into a mob mentality that solely focuses on how good it feels to express our rage and ignore everything else that matters.

In The Donald’s world a deal is a deal. Packing the Debate’s with Boo’ers is a pretty low blow.

However, I agree with you that he should have spoken up once Obama was wreaking his destruction.

You can bet that Chaney and Hillary and Obama share the same table at times at the Council on Foreign Relations meetings...

They are & have been 3 of the strongest conservatives I know.

They are GOPe conservatives...In which case you agree with their policies...The New World Order which is the world being governed by one body...The United Nations...The elimination of borders from Canada to the tip of South America where everyone can travel freely between...Live and work in whatever area they want to...Elimination of the sovereignty of the United States...

And obviously open to the invasion of muzlims hordes from around the globe...

Where was Cheney and the Bushes while Obama was selling us out to Iran??? Not a peep...

Your and their brand of conservatism I want no part of...

As I understand it FR has been fighting the GOPe since its inception and you GOPers come on here and insinuate FR is an offshoot of the GOPe...

FR is a supporter of Ted Cruz...Ted came off as being anti-GOPe (your heros) and extremely pro Constitution...

Trump showed up in the same vein being extremely anti-GOPe and won the hearts of many FReepers as well...

Cruz and Bush and Cheney and Sessions are not all conservative...

So when you say FReepers are no longer conservative, I can say, thank God for that...

But, we can't let being pissed off cloud our vision so much that we allow the first person that comes along and taps into that anger whip us into a mob mentality that solely focuses on how good it feels to express our rage and ignore everything else that matters.

You make it sound like there's a long line of people out there we have to chose from...

ignore everything else that matters.

Naw...Trump is hitting on all the major things that matter that the others won't touch...Obamacare...Competitive insurance premiums for those who can buy insurance...muzlim terrorists...94,000,000 million Americans out of work...I believe that's over 40% of the workforce...Severely weakened and depleted military...And that's just a few of Trump's positions...

And no, it has nothing to do with anger...It has to do with survival...I have little grandkids...So far they have not been forced to learn and respect the phoney Izlam religion but the NEA is working overtime on it...Who but Trump wants to investigate the mosques around the country for terrorist teaching and activity??? Trump is the only one who is against going to war with Russia...And most importantly Trump unequivocally supports the Nation of Israel...

Well that's kinda funny...McCain, McConnell, Cheney, Bush, Levin and Rush are all conservatives...Man, at some point in time you have to learn the difference...

Levin is pro America...Those others you call the greatest conservatives are New World Order anti-American globalists...Levin doesn't identify with your hero conservatives either...

No it has to do with anger Iscool.....and all people need to do is to calm that somewhat and look closer at everything else “that matters”......

...the other candidates speak the truth because it’s part of their very fiber....the believe what they’re saying....Trump speaks it because he knows that’s what you want to hear, but if you pay attention to when other candidates or pundits call him on the issues he claims as his own...he dodges, and lashes out, he gets frustrated and or he distracts from defending those because they aren’t a part of his makeup...he wears them because it’s the cloak he needs to win what he wants...the power of the Presidency.

Other candidates have been speaking about all these issues Iscool...Trump simply gives them a flavor people want to be entertained by...they like the appearance of strength he shows and confidence....when in fact he’s really afraid.....look he never defends himself without body guards and attorneys at his call....when it comes to standing alone in a debate he wilts every time...then lashes out..even at the audience..at everyone.....he’s “protecting” the fragile ego he has....nothing more.

It is shocking to me that any FReeper is still a card carrying member of the Branch Trumpidians after he displayed his liberal, truther colors in South Carolina. I’m flummoxed actually.

....”It is shocking to me that any FReeper is still a card carrying member of the Branch Trumpidians after he displayed his liberal, truther colors in South Carolina. I’m flummoxed actually.”......

This might help you understand....Trump fans ‘feel’ that Trump is on their side... Emotion is the most powerful force in politics, and it is often far more compelling than arguments based on facts and reason...... Trump has known this in his business and celebrity as well.... He’s had 30 years of learning this “trade tactic” very well and simply transferred it to wrap his fans and supporters in.

So...once they ‘identified with’ Trump, this unleashed what psychologists call “cognitive consistency”....whereby People will ‘rearrange their beliefs ‘ to produce an unswervingly positive view of Trump... Even crystal clear evidence of Trumps past liberalism will be ignored or rationalized away....we see it here on FR all the time.

“After making this pronouncement, Mr. Cheney emptied his Mossberg shotgun into a full-side cardboard likeness of Mr. Trump.”

How do you know Cheney doesn’t have a Remington!
