Indeed. What voters are looking for more than anything else is something Cruz, Rubio, Bush and virtually every other politician don’t have: Authenticity. They can’t help but pander to which ever voting block they are chasing at the moment.

I've thought Rubio for a long time, even though I hadn't yet supported anyone. And I will vote for him. No more Clinton's!

You're wearing that thread out. How many more times are you going to post it?

I just logged in this morning. This is the first time I saw it and I'm glad I did.

People are sick of the preacher routine and being told they are either believers or non-believers. There's a reason most televangelists are despised.

If that's who he is and if that's the problem, so be it. Let it burn.

“Rubio has the best chance of beating Hillary.”

How so, when a strong majority of conservative and right leaning voters can’t stand the guy?

If Rubio somehow takes the nomination, it’ll be a repeat of 2012. Say hello to Madam President.

“Rubio is rising...”

Dude, you’re dropping your mask a bit early in this campaign. You’ve only been here three months, and already you’re waving pompoms for a candidate who’s been roundly rejected here for years.

This should explain some of Cruz' problems:

I was on the fence about Cruz and Trump, but could have voted for either, but based on Trump’s followers on this board I’ve been turned off from him. They are all acting like Trump and just calling people names and have no substance.

I think I’d vote for Rubio before Trump now.

Then it is Marco Rubio. He will be the anti-Trump sooner or later. They will battle it out. Rubio has the best chance to beat Hillary. Most that follow politics know this already. It is going to happen. Enjoy the process.

Still trolling after your pro-Rubio vanity post got the zot?

Screw-bee-o is nothing but the worst kind of phony, filthy pol, and the buckets of flop sweat pouring off of him will turn all the hidden dirt that still has yet to be kicked up into mud.

I know but there is no mask. He has the best chance to win. I believe that. I think I am right.

Marco will keep Obama’s executive amnesty, he said as much.
And he was a member of the Gang of 8

Gang of Eight:

Sen. Jeff Flake, R-AZ
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC
Sen. John McCain, R-AZ

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-FL

As a democracy who we are and what we become are determined by simple math, 50+1= winner.

Rush just went ballistic, slammed his desk and said Damnit it is not my job to get votes for the candidate they have to do it their self. Repeated that Cruz is the closest thing to Reagan in our lifetime. Praised Rubio again doesn't like Trump but understands why people like what he says.

Immigration is the only issue if the Republic is to survive.

Conservatism as we knew it is dead, and the Republicans killed it.

It’s time for us to 1: Relabel ourselves to distance us from the failed and gawdawful policies of the self-proclaimed ‘conservatives’ in Congress, while at the same time keeping what actually IS conservative that we CAN agree on.

And 2: Burn what’s left down and then salt the earth so that the political/donor class is going to have a hard time regaining their feet.

Good news! I met Trump last night and it was really cool. The energy and enthusiasm in his rally was off the charts. I have little doubt but that he’s going to win on Saturday.

To the contrary. Who will take the fight to the enemy? Trump.

The problem with this is that Conservatives are the enemy.

I agree that voters are highly attracted to authenticity in a candidate. They’re also strongly attracted to guts and courage.

Trump led the way on immigration, taxes, guns, terrorism, muslims, and a host of other burning issues that other candidates were too meek and politically correct to touch.

That in itself showed a measure of character that has rarely been seen at the national level of politics.

So how is all that going to happen when President Trump is raising taxes on the top bracket, using federal funds to reimbursing hospitals directly for 25% of the population, and spending tens of billions of dollars on a wall with an open gate to expedite the return of over 10 million illegals back into the US?

I realize you are pissed, but Trump is not the solution. He's a deal maker who will work well with Reid and Pelosi.
