“Trumps premise (as well as the rest of the Democrats) is that giving them funding doesn’t fund abortion. That is complete BS. “
Ted Cruz doesn’t deny them funding either. Mr Filibuster couldn’t be bothered when funding for Planned Parenthood was passed by the Senate to do anything at all.
Thanks for your reply:
>>>”Trumps premise (as well as the rest of the Democrats) is that giving them funding doesn’t fund abortion. That is complete BS. “
>>>You’re correct. That statement is complete bs because that is not what he said.
The word here is premise, an assumption upon which his argument/position is based.
Trump’s speech is incoherent, inconsistent, trying to have all sides, but...
Let’s break it down and see if you agree.
- Planned Parenthood currently receives half-a-billion a year in government funds.
- Donald Trump does not advocate totally defunding PP.
If he is not for stopping funding PP, he must be for continuing to fund PP. Is this correct so far?
- Trump says he is against funding abortions, that it is a bad thing PP does.
- Trump says PP does good things.
He’s for continuing to fund, but not funding their abortion services.
This has to be based on the premise is that giving PP funding doesn’t fund abortion.
Checked my posts this morning and I got three of them flipping out about nonsense.
And I always heard that Canadians were pretty laid back... :)
