Trump claims to have never had to ask for forgiveness because he has done nothing wrong. Based on that, Trump is arguing he is equal to Jesus Christ.
That is far, far worse than anyone who compares Cruz with Christ in the sense that Cruz has a saving faith in Jesus Christ; and Cruz has never compared himself with Jesus.
