Outsiders or Establishment? Cruz DC Bush Insiders Since ’97 And ’03
Constitution Rising.com ^ | February 15, 2016 | Rick Wells

As a sitting Senator who worked for George W. Bush, Ted Cruz is not an outsider as he likes to claim, he’s an insider. His DC insider connections go back to 1997 when he began working to prepare testimony for the impeachment of Bill Clinton. During that period of time he also served as legal counsel for former Rep John Boehner. Cruz joined the George W. Bush Campaign in 1999 as a domestic policy adviser and worked in 2000 for the Bush team in the Bush v. Gore Florida recount. He also recruited future Chief Justice John Roberts to the Bush legal team, which is a far cry from his claims of non-support given in the Saturday debate. Theres a reason why Cruz does not have the resume of an outsider. Its because hes an insider pretending to be something hes not. His wife Heidi is currently on leave from Goldman Sachs while she’s working for her husband’s campaign. They’re the CFR political revolving door and financial giant which gave us their former CEO, Hank Paulson, as treasury raider and wealth redistributor, aka Treasury Secretary and TARP architect. She also worked in the Bush administration beginning in 2003 as the director for the Western Hemisphere on the National Security Council under National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. Cruz is a former member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an organization her husband condemned in a 2011 speech, at a time in which she was still working there, as a pernicious nest of snakes that is working to undermine our sovereignty.

Donald Trump is relying on, and using, conservatives’ hatred of the Washington Political Establishment, especially the GOPe in order to blind his supporters to the fact he is a big liberal.

Not at all. Trump is relying on patriotic conservatives hatred of invasion and unfair trade that the elitist career politicians in the GOP, Cruz included, have no problem ignoring.

Fact:

Ted Cruz fought tooth and nail to stop the advancement of the liberal agenda.

Unfortunately one man fighting for conservatism alone can’t advance much by himself.

It amazes me that he has successfully sold the outsider image to so many people. In real life Cruz was Princeton and Harvard Law educated. He clerked for a SCOTUS justice right after law school. He is a former member of the Bush admin. Ted Cruz has been in government the vast majority of his post school life. He is a sitting US Senator and his wife is a Harvard educated, former CFR member and a current Goldman Sachs exec. Just exactly what could somebody do to be more of an establishment insider? The fact that he manages to sell his narrative to millions is a testament to his persuasiveness.

If Trump can put a stop to the sovereignty destroying globalist/internationalist faction of the elite that control both parties then he will have been more conservative in effect than every Republican President of the past. Maybe Trump is a liar and his cabinet and people he would have around him would from the same stock as all the establishment regulars of the past. No one knows. But some of these establishment people are around Cruz despite his conservative bona fides. If the USA moves forward with more “free trade” deals and merges with Mexico then the country is done. Unfortunately as much as I would like to take Cruz at his word I don’t and I would rather have the imperfect Trump come through with conserving the USA. And that is gonna take someone who can’t be bought and can actually fight and roll back parts of the government behemoth which no conservative President has ever accomplished.

I know I repeat myself here but ons can go back and read wonderful conservative spellbinding speeches by President Eisenhower and then in action or actuality he would take the opposite stance as directed by his insider advisors. I’m too afraid that Cruz will be more of the same. The same arguments and doubts could be stated about Trump but I prefer America’s chances with him at the moment. The preeminent need now is to stop the eradication of US sovereignty and merging into any hemispheric union or global government. Call it the bogeyman of isolationism - ooh evil of evils; so be it. Every candidate including Trump had said they are for free trade - that term is like racism - doesn’t mean anything except what people project into it. We’ll see.

A Constitutional Conservative and Texan with rock solid record an unimpeachable core values... OR A big government NYC progressive with almost 70 years of ever evolving positions and questionable values. Tough choice.

Ping!

Paul: Trump is an insider pretending to be an outsider

“He buys and sells politicians of all stripes,” Paul said at the debate Thursday night. “He’s already hedging his bet on the Clintons. So if he doesn’t run as a Republican, maybe he supports Clinton, or maybe he runs as an independent. He’s already hedging his bets because he’s used to buying politicians.”

If anyone doesn't believe this, then take an open, eyed look at the score card of Republicans in the last two years.

Not all republicans are conservatives and I would venture to say that, these days, very few republicans are conservatives.

Mitch McConnell’s amnesty loving attorney/Chamber of Commerce guy, Eric Lycan, is heading up the latest proCRuz PAC.

CRuz’s campaign donated $250K to McConnell’s NRSC, when Midge was in a testy race battling for his Senate seat, against Matt Bevin. CRuz didn’t campaign for the outsider, Bevin, running against the DC insider.

CRuz -> GOPe

“Fact: Ted Cruz did not advance the conservative agenda in the U. S. Senate. Not one inch.”

Fact: All the democrats Trump helped get elected stopped him.

using that logic, trump is GOPe. He donated to Mcconnell, He tweeted against Matt Bevin. Trump donated to Mcconnell’s NRSC. Trump has praised Mcconnell and said Paul Ryan is a strong choice for House leader

Trump=GOPe

what now???? No trump, no Cruz...oh my! They’re all GOPe...well except for Dr Carson. He’s too new to politics to be GOPe
