Pre-debate, so it has little meaning.
If it was so meaningless Gravis/OANN wouldn’t have released it

I’m sure the post one will be Cruz 100% Trump 0%, right?
Well, no. It was completed through Sat night so it certainly included some who had seen the debate.
Second, it’s a massive poll: 1200, with a very small MOE 3% (meaning Trump could be at 40.)
Third, it’s right in line with the CBS poll.
Last, every time a bad poll comes out for Cruz the answer is always the same: “well, it didn’t include x that Trump just said/did.”
IT. DOESN’T. MATTER.
You’re right. I expect Trump’s numbers to go up post-debate.
I agree that until we get good post debate polls no one can read where the election may be headed. It is clear there is some reason the polls are not being released. Could be Trump is tanking but if that we true they would have released them to build a narrative going into Saturday. The same would be true if Rubio were rising sharply. They would sit on polls showing Cruz rising or Trump rising.

I think you’ll find that Trump’s bombastic New York approach doesn’t work so well here in SC.
That poll actually shows Cruz has a very real chance of winning here, since it included Dems and Independents who mostly won’t be voting the primary. Cruz also has a superior ground game to Trump.
We’ll see how things play out pretty soon here... :-)
