I am glad you are not feeling distressed. It will be interesting to see how this all turns out in the end. Have a good evening.
Scalia has passed from this veil of tears.
Only the Alex Jones contingent is in full tithes
Does it present the spineless group in the senate with an opportunity to do the right thing? Yes. Will they? I think they will fold like the cheap suits that they are
You already posted this post to this thread, verbatim. You're spamming.
Just curious.
It’s not the family’s call.
I am going with the family’s judgment on this-they know the situation far better than any of us. May he rest in peace.
Sorry fat fingers on m phone key board and late at night
Perhaps you don’t have God parents. I did
Many will still call for a conspiracy even if an autopsy turned up heart attack. I don’t think the government should be in charge of that decision in the first place. Obviously the family doesn’t believe anything sinister happened. Wouldn’t they be the FIRST to have suspicions?
Sounds as if he was a heart attack waiting to happen otherwise his own doctor would have pushed the family to have his death checked out. JMO
It should simply be a matter of policy that when anyone in one of the three braches of government dies that there is automatically an autopsy triggered.
It is a national security issue.
Maybe, but at this juncture it’s not. hmmm for all we know he has had one and they are keeping it quiet.
Best comment on any of these threads.
Fox News chief legal reporter said last night that he has already been embalmed, that the family did not want an autopsy.
That probably means he hasn’t had one. But, who knows, really?
Exactly.
A long time friend of Scalia’s went with after his son's plans changed. He is the one who notified the family leading me to believe he was not just Scalia’s friend, but a family friend. He was their surrogate.
If that pillow was anything other than a prop for his head, don't you think he would have said as much? Did you see the molding on the headboard? I would need several pillows between my head and the headboard for comfort.
Consenting to an autopsy on a loved one is not something most people do without anguish. His family did not see the need for one. Since Scalia did not raise a family of dummies it is fair to say, based on the information provided by the authorities and Scalia’s friend, there was no need for a post-mortem.
The government does not own our bodies in life or death. Absent any evidence (not suspicion) of foul play, it is no one’s business but the family's. For any of us to think we know better than his family is the ultimate insult to the memory of Scalia.
It’s a matter of national security. It shouldn’t be the family’s call.
In fact, an autopsy should always be conducted on anyone in one of the 3 branches of government.
However, many things are taken from the hands of families by the government. Ransom, visitation in a war zone, etc. National security does — and should — override.
I humbly beseech that you may find it in your gracious heart to forgive me for causing you such great offense.
But thanks for the advise
Lots of foul play is only detected after an autopsy, that's the whole point of doing them.
Homicide detectives and wing nuts are all claiming all sorts of things.
The family and his physician said no autopsy. We do not own some one just because they have a government title
Thank you very much-we are about to need boots to wade through the conspiracy theories, even this early...
