Trump actually announced that his own supporters are so slavishly devoted to him that he could cap someone in the street and his fans are still there wagging their tails for their master. .......He rubs his minions slack jawed faces in the fact that the whole basis of his campaign is a lie:... “When I’m president, I’m a different person. I can be the most politically correct person you’ve ever seen.” and they still don’t hear him they just grin, nod and clap!
....It’s as if Trump’s trying to see how far he can go before his followers wake up...IF they do at all!
Heck he’s made it clear he supports single-payer universal healthcare for all....and they still stand and adore him!...they are willfully, consciously choosing to ignore the truth even when it comes out of Trumps own mouth....especially when it comes out of his mouth.
At this juncture I see no reason to think they can be persuaded of their great error.....their ‘own’ ego’s are now ‘wrapped in his’ and all that they are with it.
