Pat's view is in there a little, although not documented, it's an opinion, and only alluded to. It's an opinion I disagree with. I don't remember that being the only argument for the war, nor was there a rush to go there. It was measured, slow, asked for a senate vote, and it passed. He got the country behind him, but there was no lie. If he lied, then all the democrats who voted for it, and developed the intelligence and the arguments for the war lied as well. In 20/20 hindsight, you can say it was a mistake, but that's where Trump should have left it.
I think Trump needs to back off, period. It's the wrong attack at the wrong time and it's going to lose him credibility, and votes. It's entirely unnecessary.
