Rep. Mary Lou Marzian, a Louisville Democrat, has introduced a bill that would force men who want to use erectile dysfunction drugs to jump through a series of humiliating hoops beforehand, such as visiting a doctor twice and getting notes from their wives.
"I want to protect these men from themselves," Marzian, who is a nurse, told the Courier-Journal.

The lawmaker told the paper that she intends to introduce a bill that would require gun buyers to get counseling from victims of gun violence 24 hours ahead of a firearms purchase.
"I'm just making sure the government is taking care of your safety," she said.

This person is exactly why women should not be allowed to vote let alone hold public office.
Who is this ugly-a$$ man-hating (female dog) and what right does she have to say anything about this?
Buying Viagra doesn’t result in anyone dying (in fact, the opposite is more likely).
Buying a gun doesn’t result in anyone dying.
Abortion always results in someone dying.
> This sounds and feels like payback from a disgruntled pro abortionist.
Because it is.
Speaking about an informed consent law, “I think it’s really inappropriate to be dictating to women health care decisions that should be left to their physicians, to themselves and to their God,” Marzian said. http://wkyufm.org/post/kentucky-house-approves-informed-consent-abortion-bill#stream/0
“Pro-abortion state Rep. Mary Lou Marzian of Louisville said Planned Parenthood is following proper procedures. ‘They are following exactly what they were told to do by the state and for [Gov. Bevin] to say that I have no doubt that he is opposed to abortion or anti-choice,’ Marzian asserted.” http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/01/31/gov-matt-bevin-planned-parenthood-illegally-performing-abortions-in-kentucky/

Then women who want abortions and BC should have to jump through the same hoops. Called Equality.
And no we should not fund either.
What about a gay guy getting a note from his “husband”?
Politically speaking Jefferson County (Louisville) is a breeding ground for loonies.
The terms “new taxes” or “tax increases” are audio aphrodisiacs to these people.
Ok guys.....I would love to read some of the fake notes to the pharmacist from wives written by their husbands. Come on....I need a laugh today! :-)
Let me guess: she is in favor of women having the option to murder unborn babies?
The few Kentuckians I've known who admit to being Democrats are slightly to the right of New Jersey Republicans.
Therein lies the rub...Dems don’t see a little baby in mother’s womb as a human.
I bet heavy money that she opposes parental notification when an underage girl goes in for an abortion.
I know. I counter that with:
1. Is it life? Of course it is.
2. What type of life is it? It is undeniably human.
3. Is it the mother’s body? Humans are like snowflakes, each is totally unique. For humans that uniqueness is defined by their DNA. Does the human life being terminated have the mother’s DNA, or is it unique DNA?
4. By all scientific criteria, abortion kills a unique human life.
Time to introduced a bill that would force women who want to use birth control to jump through a series of humiliating hoops beforehand, such as visiting a doctor twice and getting notes from their husband or future baby daddy.

“One look and maybe there should be a bill requiring dildo registration. A public registry.
Bet her name will appear.”
They should also have a limit of 1 D-Cell a month. /s
She using the “reductio ad absurdum” mode of argumentation to make a point about autonomous adulthood and access to abortion, obviously. Many many Republicans, to the point of being a concrete shibboleth, DO feel that women are too stupid, or immoral, or greedy and selfish to make that decision without lawmakers looking over their shoulders. What’s different about this?
“But there is a special place in hell for those who mistake themselves for God.”
When it comes to access to abortion, virtually 100% of American conservatives mistake themselves for God. Ah, well. No one ever accused humans of lacking internal contradiction.
I think she hates the entire reproductive process because it has been a long time since a man asked her to take part in it.
