I believe there were some WMDs in Iraq. I also believe they were not a threat to the U.S. IMO Cheney pushed Bush into the invasion. Since they left office I do not see any interaction between them and Bush let scooter twist in the wind IMO because he was upset.

This war was a disaster for US. it led to us dwelling on the Mid East while domestic issues were failing. In the end it gave us Obama which will be a millstone on the neck of our nation for at least 20years assuming hitlery is not elected. The Scalia death is almost a knockout punch too.

I supported bush because he was our guy. I regret doing that up to the point of considering how much worse algore or Lurch would have been.

“I believe there were some WMDs in Iraq.”

i believe that it was confirmed by multiple lines of evidence that sadam had previously used *chemical* wmds.

basically in the press conference, bush said they didn’t find wmds, they found the “the potential” for wmds.

that however is not what bush said to get us in to iraq. it was the specter of nuclear wmds (warheads on scuds) that justified it to rational critics like me. that and the fact that i trusted it. you know goebel’s *big lie.* you just can’t make yourself believe an American president would lie or even take anything but a careful, painstaking approach to conclusions about such a life and death matter.

i’ve since learned the uniparty can lie about anything, especially big things; they as a group couldn’t care less about the plight of the average American citizen and his working class family.

finally, if i had been president and taken us into iraq on that premise, i like to think there would now be a standing museum of captured sadam/iraqi nuclear weapons in washington d.c. and hopefully declassified documentation on their planned uses, as a monument to the iraq war. otherwise, i would have resigned the office as responsible for taking us to war under false premises.

and full disclosure again, not a trump guy. we agree it was and continues to be a disaster. may God bless you.
