..."In response to attacks leveled against him by Sen. Ted Cruz, Rubio made a demonstrably and provably false declaration about his position on President Obama's executive amnesty. Rubio even accused Cruz of "telling lies" about his position on executive amnesty-even though nationally-televised video footage of Marco Rubio confirms Cruz's allegation, and reveals that Rubio lied in front of a nation-wide viewing audience during tonight's debate.
Cruz said:"Marco right now supports citizenship for 12 million people here illegally. I oppose citizenship...Marco has a long record when it comes to amnesty. In the state of Florida, as Speaker of the House,he supported in-state tuition for illegal immigrants. In addition to that,Marco went on Univision in Spanish and said he would not rescind President Obama's illegal executive amnesty on his first day in office. I have promised to rescind every single illegal executive action, including that one."
Cruz was referring specifically to President Obama's 2012 executive amnesty for illegal immigrants who allegedly came to the country as minors. The unconstitutional amnesty known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals-or DACA-remains fully operational to this day. DACA not only gives illegal immigrants immunity from deportation, but also grants them work permits and access to federal benefits.
Indeed, video footage of Sen. Rubio confirms Cruz's assertion. In an April Spanish-language interview, Rubio told Univision's Jorge Ramos:"I wouldn't undo it [DACA] immediately." Rubio elaborated in English, telling Ramos: "I don't think we can immediately revoke that[DACA]..I'm not calling for it to be revoked tomorrow, or this week, or right away."
Yet Rubio-seemingly comfortable in the knowledge that the debate moderators would not be presenting any actual information on Rubio's immigration record-simply denied Cruz's charge, despite the existence of a readily available transcript which confirms Cruz's claim."..

It is not 'wishful thinking'... I had a conversation lately with a Texas Freeper that supports Cruz... The conversation went something like this... When Cruz was running for Senate in Texas, his opponent challenged Cruz to a debate in 'Spanish', Cruz apparently rejected the idea... The Freeper seemed to believe that Cruz does not speak Spanish...
Thus, when Rubio got Cruz to launch into speaking Spanish, I was shocked... And to see these two go after each other over who is the biggest liar and then see one reduced to retorting back in Spanish, was funnier than anything SNL comedy skit could dream up.
Had the debate been in Miami, south Texas, New Mexico, Arizona or California, it would not have the same impact as it did happening in South Carolina... They both lost control and it was funny.
I did not say one word in support of Trump.... Silly.... Lucky for Cruz and Rubio Trump was between them. It might have come to hair pulling and blows.
Yep, been to law school, and they do teach that. But Rubio reminds me of some folks I know who are completely undeterred by facts, and mostly they’re on the left.
But I’ll give Rubio one thing, grand, soaring rhetoric. When uninterrupted by reality, tis a beautiful thing to behold. Just sayin ...

The writer must have missed the ‘deer in the headlights’ look from Rubberio at Cruz comeback. Not to mention that Rubberio’s Univision speech was confirmed by Breitbart fact-check Sunday afternoon.

The belief was that Cruz could not speak Spanish! Cruz showed the world that is NOT true... I do not believe for one second Cruz came to the debate to dispel the rumor that he could not speak or understand the Spanish language... Rubio got under his skin and he melted... Cruz has a history in Texas that he does NOT speak Spanish. Obviously Rubio heard the rumors that Cruz could not speak/understand the language, by the look on Rubio's face. THAT IS IT!!!
It was SNL comedy skit that two Cubans forgot where they were and started a fight over who is the biggest liar.... and in Spanish no less....

Kudos to Cruz for saying he doesn’t speak Spanish (and a yuuuge laugh at those who fell for it). I have always made it a point to claim I speak only American - it gives me a terrific advantage when people will say things in front of me that they don’t want me to know.
I only was “caught” once when someone dropped a tool and asked that it be picked up and handed to him — but I was able to recover by saying I saw him drop it and wanted to be helpful.
