âI donât know how he knows what I said on Univision because he doesnât speak Spanish,â Rubio retorted.
I wonder if anyone has ever told Rubio that there are people that are known as “translators”???

That was my favorite moment of the debate. He didnt let Rubio’s lie stand. Rubio got nothing from that exchange.
All anyone will remember is Rubio’s refusal to engage in spanish after trying to float a lie expecting to go unchallenged

Cruz had a very weak debate in my opinion.
Rubio did better. But I suspect that Jeb will take votes away from Rubio.
Won’t be surprised if Trump finishes first and Kasich second.

“Cruz then responded in Spanish, taunting Rubio.”
Ooh, that’s gonna leave a mark...

That was funny! I don’t think Rubio expected it at all. What a silly comment, anyway, that Cruz wouldn’t know what Rubio said in Spanish...as though Cruz (and everyone else) couldn’t have it translated if need be. Silly.

A few years ago, two Tejanos were running for the Democratic nomination for governor. They had a debate in Spanish. One of the candidateâs forest language was English and the other guyâs was Spanish. The second taunted the first for his imperfect Spanish. Cruz is not fluent on the language but he knows Spanish. And his Father could talk rings around Rubio in Spanish.

"I don't know how he knows what I said on Univision because he doesn't speak Spanish," Rubio retorted. Was that supposes to be a slam? Meaning that people who do not speak Spanish are somehow inferior?
Either that or he is not aware of translators.
