Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said that although the Democratic Party "wants to give every opportunity to grassroots activists... to participate" in its presidential nomination process, superdelegates "exist... to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don't have to be in a position where they are running against grassroots activists."
Wasserman-Schultz made the comments Thursday in response to a question by CNN's Jack Tapper on why Hillary Clinton garnered the same number of delegates in the New Hampshire primary as rival Bernie Sanders even though Sanders won 22 percent more of the vote. ...

Looks like Bolshevik vote counting to me.
At the Renaissance Festivals, there is a comedy jousting match where the Black Night fans are coached to cheer, “Cheat to won, cheat to win.”
Figured out that the Black Knight was a Dim-bulb-crat.
This woman and HIllary need to take a plane ride together with a Muslim pilot.
Yep, grass roots achieves like standing US Senators.
Yep, grass roots activists like standing US Senators.
“Unpledged delegates exist really to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don’t have to be in a position where they are running against grassroots activists.”
THIS is how Ted Cruz should respond to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz:
So, the DNC has decided to RIG THE SYSTEM AGAINST DEMOCRACY?
Shouldn’t ALL “party leaders and elected officials” have to gain the support of grassroots activists?
“Yep, grass roots activists like standing US Senators.”
So are you saying that Cruz and Rubio are really on the RAT Party ticket? Guess I must have missed something.
Hey she told the truth for once
“THIS is how Ted Cruz should respond to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz:
So, the DNC has decided to RIG THE SYSTEM AGAINST DEMOCRACY?”
Why would Cruz respond to this communist bitch? He needs to spend what time he has left trying to best Boobio, Kasick, and Boosh for second place next Tuesday.
Animal Farm in action. The only way to change this is for Bernie to urge his supporters to (1)stay home from the general election; (2) write Bernie’s name in; or (3) vote for the Republican candidate. It seems to me that too many Democrats are knee-jerk voters whom the DNC powers-that-be realize they can take for granted and abuse at will. Only when they are no automatic Dem voters will things change for them. I might add that the same holds true for knee-jerk Republican voters.
The DNC like to chose their nominee in smoky back rooms.
Presumably, the Senators, Representatives, and Governors were elected by the voters, so they have legitimacy.
It doesn't get much clearer than that.
if the dnc steals this from bernie the revolt on the dem side of the isle will be absolutely delicious to watch
Absolutely. Bolsheviks count like Stalin did. They've been doing this since 1971. Ever wonder what happened to Ed Muskie and Scoop Jackson and the rest of the "Defense Democrats"? This did.
1, 2, 3, 7, 23, ... we win.
What a nice way to say election rigging. How democratic, allowing the peoples will to be thwarted before they even vote.
Uh...so he can come in FIRST.
Especially since the importance of Supreme Court nominations may sober up a few Trumpets.
Pollster Pat Caddell: Hillary Clinton Email Scandal âWorse Than Watergateâ
“Especially since the importance of Supreme Court nominations may sober up a few Trumpets.”
The SCOTUS is very important. And the issue that should be before us at this moment is collectively keeping that worthless POS McConnell from allowing any Obama nomination to go foreward. That process has nothing to do with the nomination process, and FWIW, who’s to say that Cruz would give us a better nominee than Trump? Hell, a President Trump might well nominate Ted Cruz!
