While Turk emplacements can hit the outskirts of Aleppo from Turkey, they cannot hit the center of it from there. It's about 30-35 miles.

Syria will likely drive to Aleppo from the south and west, daring the Turks to cross the border and engage.

Any Turkish tank or truck that crosses to engage the Syrian forces will be destroyed by Russian air assets.

It's as certain as the day is long.

Russia likely has two mechanized divisions ready to fly in over a 72hr period...and may begin shoring up Latakia in advance.

Oh, and another 200 aircraft at the ready.

As I understand it they have only 40 aircraft at Latakia. Could be wrong. 200 more, given the effectivenesss of the 40, is bad news for the Turks. Air assets are forfit before they are off the field if this gets serious. S300 on the crusier off shore and S400 at Latakia - which, as I understand it, can take out the tanks and other vehicles without risking any planes.

Do you have enough popcorn?

Yes they can hit Aleppo.
They can hit anywhere within 100-200 miles at least, with artillery rocket systems.
They have US ATCMs, plus many others incl 100+ 300mm rocket launchers with 100km+ range.
