I would start with a web search, and look at his decisions. I did a cursory search and at first glance he looks pretty solid.

I don’t have access to Lexis-Nexis, but I am pretty sure that, especially after the Roberts experience, Freepers will give any nominee a virtual rectal exam of every public scrap of information about them.

Only God can see into a person’s heart and soul. The rest of us have to make a best guess based on what we see, read, and hear.

President Eisenhower once called his nominations of Justice Brennan and Chief Justice Earl Warren his two *biggest mistakes*.

**...Freepers will give any nominee a virtual rectal exam ...** ...as only they can.

Does the average voter, even think about who a president will nominate for SCOTUS? I doubt it.

It’s going to be jobs, the economy, and national safety.

I don’t think there were any red flags about Roberts.

That’s what makes it so easy to speculate there was something “off the record” that was used to blackmail him.

I don’t buy into that, but his O’Care decision was pretty uncharacteristic of him
