Excellent point.
In my opinion, all illegal aliens are criminals, even if they haven’t been apprehended and charged for the myriad of crimes they must commit daily to further their illegal presence, ie., fake documents, illegally working, etc.

Cruz is playing the Trump is a “meanie card”. I do not believe Cruz has any intention of deporting anyone who has not committed a crime.
The thing that is fascinating to me was his statement that he did not know he had Canadian citizenship until 2013.
The article states that when Ted wanted to go on a (high) school trip, he was required to get a passport. In order to obtain the passport Ted needed to get a document from the consulate. Is it rational to believe that Ted was not aware in 1986 of the fact that he was still at that time Canadian?
We either believe he did not know which is irrational or Cruz lied.
Why did he tell that lie? Why?
If he was 16/17 then his folks would have needed to do the oapaperwork to get him his passport.
Not all parents tell their kids all the details of what paperwork is needed...
