Sounds exactly like someone that has been on page one for the last six months. Even progressives back in the day knew the God given Grace of a noble effort.
Not that you asked, but here's my unscientific analysis:
There's a 20% chance (IMHO) that Trump is a fraud, and that he's running some sort of scam for some sort of reason. That's a much higher percentage than I'd assign to any other GOP candidate.
But that leaves an 80% chance that he's the real deal, a political Patton. Given the dangerous condition we're in, I think it's worth taking that chance. As they say, you're milage may vary.

Any of those works for me, although I'll admit the last one is a long shot.
