Chelsea Clinton says she left a pro-life Baptist church when she was six years old because they taught her about abortion. The 35-year-old reportedly said she was tired of critics questioning her family's religion during a recent fundraiser for Hillary Clinton.
"I find it quite insulting sometimes when people say to my mom, my dad or me that they question our faith," Clinton said. "I was raised in a Methodist church and I left the Baptist church before my dad did because I didn't know why they were talking to me about abortion when I was 6 in Sunday School. That's a true story." "I recognized that there were many expressions of faith that I don't agree with and feel [are] quite antithetical to how I read the Bible," Clinton continued, "but I find it really challenging when people who are self-professed liberals kind of look askance at my family's history..."

If I had gotten up at age 6 and announced “I am leaving this church”, some nun would have smacked me back in line with a ruler before my parents would even have had a shot at me.
Yea right, her parents let her decide the church at age 6. What a load of BS liars these Clintons are!

The next thing we know, we are going to hear her tell the story about how when she was born her parents named her after Chelsea Manning.

What Baptist church, or any church for that matter, teaches abortion to six year olds? Also, how can a six year old “leave” a church?

A good journalist would have asked a follow-up question of why and how a 6 year old would know what an abortion was.

It was probably “Sanctity of Human Life Sunday” and it was in their lesson books written appropriately for a 6 year old.
Speaking as a Baptist, good riddance. One less person trying to change us like they did the Methodist Church.
Which by the way is a good example of what happens when there is an all powerful central authority (feds) like the Methodists compare to a decentralized structure (states) like Baptist.
