What earns them [Super Delegates]for Hillary? Just her stature?

Democrat party Super delegates are democrat party political insiders.

In fact - Bill Clinton himself is a Super Delegate !!!!!

Super Delegates can vote for whomever they please without regard to how the popular vote goes.

It is clear that the democrat party establishment intends for Hillary to be their candidate,.
Bernie was supposed to just be a pretend challenger for her throne but has become somewhat of a real threat.

20 distinguished party leaders (current and former presidents, vice-presidents, congressional leaders, and DNC chairs)
20 Democratic governors (including territorial governors and the Mayor of the District of Columbia)
47 Democratic members of the United States Senate (including Washington, DC shadow senators)
192 Democratic members of the United States House of Representatives (including non-voting delegates)
432 elected members of the Democratic National Committee (including the chairs and vice-chairs of each state's Democratic Party
