That's one of many things we like about him. He's unscripted, he reacts very consistently. When attacked he attacks back. When 43 did not react to all the attacks being leveled at him I always felt it as a mistake. The same when he left office. It is fine to be nice but one cannot allow themselves to be constantly attacked by without standing one's ground. Trump understand.

I think you have to have some intimidation factor with the media.

To be fair, the most intimidating politician with the media is Obama. He picks his interviews and his questions, then chastises anyone who crosses him. He’s worse than Carter in that regard.

Trump, gives interviews to all stations, all interviewers unless they have some hidden agenda which is obvious, as in the Kelly Megyn thing. Her agenda is to make debate about her.
