Radio host Rush Limbaugh says the GOP establishment's reaction to Donald Trump's victory in New Hampshire Tuesday night is an indicator its leaders are in denial or poorly hiding "abject panic."

Rush backed Rubio a week ago.
Rush was put in his place. He’s part of the problem unless he does his part. Otherwise he can go back to pill popping.
Or was your comment a knee-jerk reaction? LOLOL
We know now what we’ll get with Rubio - a stooge who will do nothing but parrot the elites and party bosses. Rubio is 100% corporate owned.
Regardless of what Rush says, it’s already over. And Trump will overwhelmingly thumb off any democrat candidate and be in the White House come Jan. 20.
You don’t even know what you are talking about. I listen to Rush everyday and all I hear is him analyzing the candidates and defending them from the media if he has to. He was defending Rubio from the on slaughtered by the media. Maybe you should try and listen to him more.
Go Trump
Rush did not endorse Rubio. He said Rubio’s debate performance would not mean that much to his supporters. It appears to have slowed Rubio’s momentum. But Rubio was not going to win anyway.
Anyway it is good to keep Rubio as a candidate. Rubio and Jeb will share the moderate votes.
You're right, he doesn't. But he's been a resident Rush hater for a long time so it doesn't take much for him to find something to fault Rush with......
Rubin’s campaign manager on CNN said Rush backed Rubio.
Did Rush contradict that?
Did Rush instead go on the air and say Rubio was a legit conservative? Yes he did.
I know exactly what I’m talking about.
Rush got his ass handed to him. Robot Rubio went down in flames.
Rush tries to act like he’s an influence. He’s not. He will be pushed aside if he pimps open border scamnesty RINOs.
Not sure what they have on him. But Rush was compromised last week.
Naa, he went overboard with Rubio. Gang of Eight stuff simply SHOULD NOT BE FORGIVEN - not this soon, if ever. In other words, you cannot be a conservative and still be for open borders...Rush was saying that other than open borders (i.e., supporting the demographic transition of this country to single-party Democrat rule), Rubio is a FINE CONSERVATIVE.
I agree that if we ignore Rubio’s attempt to make the Republican Party about as relevant in DC as they now are in California (thanks to Reagan’s amnesty), then Rubio would be a good conservative...but most of Rush’s listeners prefer to allow their children and grandchildren to live in a 2-party system, rather than in one that resembles Venezuela.
Rush REALLY seems to miss that point, and instead seems to think that Rubio should be nominated simply because of his “great life story”.
BINGO !!!
I hope you’re right ...
Maybe the GOPe does get it and they are about to “Man the Lifeboats” (withdraw all financial support from the eventual nominee? Run “one of theirs” third-party?). I would expect that to be a period of quiet-chaos.

I turned Rush off when he went full Rubio.
Has he backed off?
No one who backs abandoning the rule of law can be considered conservative, Rubio did just that.
"Marco Rubio is a legitimate full-throated conservative and a disciple of Ronald Reagan"
Reality vs Idealism
Join the club. Lots of folks like to comment on Rush here. Without listening to Rush.
Rush was wrong when he said that Rubio is a legitimate conservative and disciple of Reagan. Rubio is an empty suit. Rubio is an opportunist who says whatever he thinks will help him. Christie showed that in the debate. Rubio had nothing to say and could only repeat his memorized script. Rubio has never renounced his Gang of Eight position.
I wondered how Rush could be so wrong about Rubio.
The only reason I can come up with is Rush wants Rubio to stay in the race and split the moderate vote with Jeb Bush.
The fact that Rush was wrong about Rubio last week does not mean he is not right in this article.
