Someone up thread mentioned there were planned visits tomorrow by local politicians (I think). Why can’t the FBI just back off and let it play out? No one is being harmed right now. There are no hostages.

Yea, I agree... the FBI could back off for another day. But, either way I don't think the FBI will let these guys walk away... even with officials as escorts. They want arrests.

It's kind of a rock and a hard place situation, and I don't know how it can be defused.
