One big problem is that we don’t have a veto-proof majority in the Senate. Without that, or a filibuster-proof majority if a Republican wins the White House, no fundamental legislative changes will occur.

While Dems ran roughshod over the filibuster during their Obama majority years, Republicans will honor it.
