Today T-Mobile has a smartphone plan with unlimited talk, text and data [throttled after 2GB of 4G data is used] for $50/month. Four lines reduces it to as little as $25/month per line.
In 2009, T-Mobile had a similar plan for $100/month for one line -- with 3G data. 25 years ago, I had a bag phone and was paying nearly $200/month for a very limited amount of analog voice only.
The innovation that has taken place in the wireless communication industry has been of great benefit to the consumer. Leave it to the fascist plutocrats to see this as a bad thing and take steps to destroy it.
