As a child of Depression era parents, I don’t think I want to have that experience. Better to elect folks that can ease us out of it, if possible.
Nice thought and hopefully we can and those elect will.
However, politicians being what they are, it most likely will not happen.
I would rather suffer it than have the economy collapse about the time my grandson reaches adulthood, which is about 15 years or so from now.
