I have to hand it to you. You gave a reasoned explanation. Doesn’t matter whether I agree. I simply appreciate a reasoned dialogue and not cyber-ranting at each other. You may have even moved me toward supporting Trump if he’s the nominee, which I was ready to do until the attacks on Cruz started. I’ve noticed that Trump has toned some of that stuff down, so maybe he’s thinking a little more about future alliances that the party will need to beat the Dems.
On that note, you’d think the Dems can be beat easily by any half-decent Republican candidate, but I don’t take for granted their chicanery, voter fraud on a mass scale and their shock troops in the MSM to get them over the finish line, even if the choice is a lunatic old socialist or a criminal broom-riding harridan.
I agree with Luircin that Trump’s movement can be attributed to honestly looking at the questions as a possible president. It would not, in and of itself, necessarily be calculated. As generous as I can be to Rubio, I have trouble getting to the same place, but?
Anyway, I Stand with Ted. If Ted falls short fair and square, I will support and work for Trump.
Yeah... The tone around here has been really nasty lately. I don’t WANT to be part of it, but I admit that I can be fairly easy to goad when I’m not paying attention to myself. And I didn’t like the Trump/Cruz dust-up either. It seems that neither of them were helped by it in the end.
I think I’ll hang around threads like this more. At least the screamers are drowned out a bit on the bigger threads.
As for the general... yeah, that’s true. I’m just thinking that with the total lack of D excitement over either candidate, there won’t be quite as many willing accomplices for fraud. At least I hope so.
