exactly, classic political dirty trick and little way of proving which campaign did it. Cruz is not that ignorant.
This headline is far slimier than anything Ted Cruz is alleged to have done.
First, there is no claim, much less evidence, that Cruz himself had any direct connection to this fundraising letter.
Second, as the otherwise highly slanted article itself acknowledges, this is a common fundraising tactic, used all the time.
Third, “checks” like those accompanying this letter need to warn the recipient that they are non-negotiable. The check accompanying this solicitation had such a notice.
Fourth, under a NEW DEMOCRAT SPONSORED LAW enacted within the last year, the notice has to be in a certain size type. Whoever sent the letter, apparently unaware of the NEW law, didn’t use large enough type.
If that’s a serious offense, the person posting this sleazily headlined post should be put to death.
And those working for him? He sure has been having to eat a lot of crap for them lately.
