You are right, he cares about winning. He is driven. And, I might add, so does everyone else in this race. They all care about winning. They are all in it to win it.
Trump doesn’t need money. He doesn’t need fame. He has both. The difference with Trump is he has nothing to gain but to fix America and after he does, he will stand on his soapbox and say he did it. It’s all about pride! No one else can say that. He’s bold and I like that!

Oh, the media loves Trump and is the main reason for his surge. GOPe would prefer a more known product like Bush or Rubio, but they will take Trump in a heart beat over a consistent principled conservative like Cruz.
You made the point that Ted’s mother was a natural born citizen having been born in Delaware and you are correct. But her son was born in Canada, not natural born in the U.S. If the Cruz family remained in Canada I don’t believe Ted would even be a U.S. citizen since he is the son of the soil he is born into.
