My take on the whole thing was ‘Don't give the other guy any more time by saying his name.’

In the first part of the debate Cruz got a whole lot more time than anyone else. It was a strategy - I didn't care for it but it was obvious and it was pretty effective.

I noticed the same thing. Their name gets mentioned and they get time to respond.
