I'm going to try to coax my son to come over and hang out tomorrow.
We'll probably play more video games than watch football though, LOL.
Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
LOL! Work is good. Are you still having summer weather?
Wow! You got quite a bit accomplished today! I feel for ya having all that “fun” in the garage. We need to do a LOT more in Aunt Clara’s part of the house but it’s sooooo intimidating. LOL!
Not so warm here today. Apparently some parts of TN had sunshine and were warmer but we weren’t so lucky. MAYBE tomorrow .....
And you aren’t kidding about the weather being all over the map! Next week we’ll have a little snow, then it’ll warm back up by the weekend. Or so they SAY.
Good evening, Kathy...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lordâs Day to you and yours.
yjank you. We’ll continue tonorrow as foday.
I had a friend who's a contractor go to the concrete convention in Las Vegas this past week.
Did you go?
He said it was huge.
Oh my goodness...what a great “show”!! Too cool that they can have so much fun together, and really use up some energy....and provide entertainment, too.
No, we don’t watch football. But there’ll be plenty of Super Bowl parties going on around the area. We’re probably the only ones who won’t be at any of them. LOL!
Used to love NASCAR and had many a large time in the infields. Talladega was always a blast. But they’ve ruined the sport and we don’t bother with it any more.
Now rather than watch race cars, we play with show cars. :-)
Up every few hours...once because I kept hearing the toggle switch on her wheelchair over and over and over and over. She went too far into the bathroom “entrance” and couldn’t back out. I got her backed out and she was so frustrated. Of course she was half asleep and that didn’t help.
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
I never got into NASCAR but you said they ruined it. How?
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
I wish. Have not had the ability to do so.
Biggest show of it’s kind.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
God Bless our military men and women who have given their all.
Thanks, unique.
radu.....#50!!
Durn, I was hoping you’d be lucky enough to get a decent sleep.
I know it’s tough for both of you. She’s frustrated and gets confused, and you fret and stay worn out.
It’s a reversal of the rolls when our parents get old. WE assume the “parent” roll.
Too many rule changes ruined it for us. It used to be “run what ya brung and hope ya brung enough” and now they restrict that way too much. Pretty much uniform body styles and regulations have the engines not all that different. It just got too boring and we gave up on it.
We occasionally go to one of the dirt tracks around here where they still have REAL racing. But we miss the large tracks and crowds of thousands. It was a rush!
