Not a single statement by any government can be trusted. I am guessing that the unemployment rate in the US is more like 20-25%, depending on location. When somebody I know, a divorced man in his mid thirties, moved into a travel trailer from a real rental, I started paying attention. I now see them everywhere, a travel trailer with a cable connection strung from the house, or awnings deployed and chairs outside. I have never noticed people actually living full time in these temporary tow-behind travel accommodations. This appears to be the new normal. Incidentally, it is not legal for a second family or extended family to permanently occupy a temporary accommodation in a single family zoned neighborhood. Nor is it legal to rent a property not designated and taxed as rental. If it is this easy to spot the violations from the road, how soon before local government cracks down? Then, where will all these people go? They are obviously there because they can not afford other accommodations. This is part of Obama-s lasting legacy.
Into the street:
That's where the government least wants them. They'll turn a blind eye to prevent that.
