In a striking reversal of rhetoric, Donald Trump would not rule out Ted Cruz as his hypothetical vice-presidential pick.
"Well, I don"t know. Look, I have nothing against him. It was sort of a sad thing that happened, but I'"ve always liked him," Trump told Hugh Hewitt on his radio show Thursday, after weeks of trashing his primary rival as nasty, hypocritical and disliked.
Trump added that he has "always gotten along well" with Cruz, but that "I'm so much now focused on New Hampshire."

Can you look at my number 84 please. I am really interested in seeing if you agree with me on those. Thank you.
“Trump will turn on Palin in a heartbeat as soon as he thinks it will benefit him.
...kinda like Cruz supporters here on FR did?”
Nah,,Freepers got Trump beat. They denounce as evil anything dares criticize their St. Cruz. They even called Phyllis Schlafly stupid, or paid off.
Their disrespect has no boundaries.
I would but I heard rumors about you and your farm animals. I asked them for conformation but when asked directly about the allegations the ducks laughed and the Ewe Sheep just said Bla bla bla.
Trump was visiting police long before Iowa.
Cruz already told Hannity yesterday that Cruz likes Trump.
Cruz wants to keep the discussion about issues.
If trump stops the personal attacks, so will Cruz
But Cruz is nasty not liked is an anchor baby and owned by the banks...oh dear oh dear...the art of the deal
Completely false. I am NOT a Muslim.
Trump has said he is going to build the meanest, nastiest military. Do you think that means he won’t like the military?
Open your eyes.
I like Walker and think he would be a great choice for VP for both political and ideological reasons.
I don’t want you to fight. I want you to win.
That or his internal polling shows he’s in a free fall.
I am betting his polling is not good!
How can he select Cruz and his vice president when he doesn’t believe he is constitutionally eligible to be president?
*******************************************************************************
Because he does NOT believe that and simply was saying it (to no or minimal effect) simply to keep Cruz’ vote down.
Now, maybe we can get back to the way things were going when it looked as if Trump and Cruz, JOINTLY, would have locked up the majority of the delegates and taken control of the Republican Party apparatus/
And win I shall. No matter how many dirty tricks I have to do.
You may be on to something there. Most voters will at most hear / see what makes the major news shows. The Donald can if need be retreat slightly, blaming the Tweets about Carson on “Cruz staffers”, and noting that Cruz did apologize to Carson. Meanwhile, he’s planted doubts about Cruz in some of the Pub voters who would be active in the next couple primaries, and furthered his own narrative about not being a typical politician.
The downside, it seems to me, is that the whole dustup lessens the chance of a Trump / Cruz ticket.
This election went in the crapper fast... Sad really i liked most including Carson. I think GW himself would find it difficult.
February -> Cruz eligible (Some people say Trump didn't see his shadow, so Cruz is eligible for six more weeks)
I don't care who are, that's funny!
.
A congress of mostly founders passed a resolution that the child of a citizen is also a citizen, without regard of place of birth.
Logically they knew what the constitution they had created intended.
It has actually never been in question.
