Cruz proposed phasing out the ethanol mandate over 5 years. The first year would be 20% less. The phase out was to not totally disrupt the ethanol producers so they could transition out. That is getting rid of it in a responsible way.
Trump on the other hand called for more ethanol to try to buy more votes.
The only “dirty” being done was all on Trump’s side. Talk about lies...
