Every Super Bowl should have the Glee Club from one of the Service Academies sing the National Anthem, as written and backed by an Armed Forces band & color guard...and with a parachute jump preceding and a flyover following.

OK to have celebs for the playoffs. Little Big Town gave an acceptable performance this year — no frills, trills, or rills, just decent harmony.

Gaga had better be Good Good.

Yes and yes. I’ve always thought that instead of a halftime show promoting the newest or oldest rock stars, why not have colleges (or high school) bands compete for scholarship money for academic students. Have an American Idol type of show where schools can compete on tv, viewers can vote over a period of weeks leading up the the big game, and then for the SB halftime show have the final two schools compete, then let the viewers decide who wins the scholarship money. That would be good clean fun and the SB bigs can spend the money in a productive way. A school can only win once.
