Agreed. If you watch the Sound of Music Tribute she did at last year's Oscars, you can't deny this lady can sing. I don't care for her pop stuff, but she has genuine talent.

I haven’t watched the Academy Awards in years, not since I busted a hotel TV remote control watching Whoopie Goldberg host and had no idea this young lady could actually sing. If she’s smart as well as talented she will perform the Anthem respectfully and as if she means it. It will expand her audience considerably.
