What you’ll find surprising about which 2016 presidential candidates have received the most money from each state is that Hillary Clinton dominates, and Dr. Ben Carson finishes second.
Guess that’s not how Iowans see things.

Kind of funny that LA Gov. Bobby Jindal, OH Gov. John Kasich, NJ Gov. Chris Christie, SC Sen. Lindsey Graham, and KY Sen. Rand Paul each received the most donations only from their home states, but it is what it is.
Pretty surprising to see Hillary getting a bunch of cash from red states, though.

There are many Republican candidates, and two Democrats. The money on the Republican side is going to more candidates, so per candidate they often get less than Hillary.
