The term RINO self identifies as someone too "liberal" to be considered by true conservatives. However, I think the article you discount, posits some question about The Donald's outrageous claim that he can assemble "terrific" masterminds once he gets into office.

I don't care who ultimately wins, be it Trump/Cruz/Rubio or the dog catcher, there is going to be a lot of pain involved in undoing the progressive mess we are in. None of the candidates are willing to acknowledge how painful change (a reversal of progressivism) will be. To right the ship there are going to be casualties and that is the truth that no one is trying to sell.

It would be mistaken to think that change could possibly be worse than the path we are on now.
