EXCLUSIVE DETAILS NICOLE LOVELL MURDER

February 3, 2016

Positiv Press

REPOST to all news agency Facebook pages

Law enforcement sources NOT authorized to speak with journalists, have elected to share select portions of the kidnapping and murder investigation of 13 year old Nicole Lovell of Blacksburg.

Other sources with very intimate knowledge of the ongoing investigation, have also shared with Positiv Press in some cases, a virtual 'play by play' of how Lovell came to know 18 year old Virginia Tech freshman David Eisenhauer of Columbia, Md.

Law enforcement, including the local Commonwealth Attorney, have declined to speak about how Eisenhauer and Lovell came to know each other. Lovell's family is on the record as saying they met online, but that's the extent of the information they have shared in a public forum.

After 25 years, this journalist has built relationships with a variety of well-informed and well-placed sources who are willing, and in some cases, eager to share what they know, in exchange for the promise of complete anonymity.

What follows is a detailed, and in some cases, difficult to read exchange of questions and answers between sources with direct knowledge of the events that led to the kidnapping and brutal murder of Nicole Lovell, a child caught between the innocence of her age and the angst of those hard to navigate years that many children - females and males - fumble through and sometimes suffer through, for years.

Source- "Nicole and David (Eisenhauer) met in early December, about two months ago. They met through a smartphone app called Kik. One cop told us "Kik is porn for kids." Nicole's mother had no idea her daughter had that app on her phone, if she did she would have deleted it."

Positiv Press- "Can you explain how they met? The circumstances?"

Source- "I can tell you that Nicole fell hard and fast for David, he was five years older than her. I'm not exactly sure of the date, but I know that Nicole named her killer. She was in love. She was excited about having a date with an 18 year old athlete from Virginia Tech."

(A local newspaper asked Virginia Tech to make Eisenhauer's track coaches available for interviews, but Virginia Tech declined.)

Postiv Press- "What do you mean "Nicole named her killer?"

Source- "The day that [Nicole] went out the window (January 27), that day she told kids on the bus that she had a date with David." [The actual day Nicole told other students on the school bus was Tuesday, January 27th, the day before she left her home with Eisenhauer.]

"Nicole's bedroom was on the first floor. We've been led to believe that [Eisnhauer] helped her get out. Crime scene tech's lifted fingerprints off the window."

Postiv Press- "When did Nichole crawl out the window?"

Source- "That was about 12:30 Tuesday night (Wednesday morning). We were told that she was killed at the Duck Pond at Virginia Tech."

(The Duck Pond is a "park" that consists of two ponds; the upper pond was shaped out in 1881 and served as an ice skating pond, the lower pond was shaped out in 1937. The park "provides opportunities for both passive and active recreation. A paved path traverses the park and connects it to the larger campus trail system.")

Postiv Press- "Had Nicole sneaked out before?"

Source- "Nichole was a good child. She never snuck (sic) out of her window before and she was not sexually mischievous. Nicole had low self-esteem and she had exactly what a predator was looking for. She got tricked and opened her window for the wrong person."

In a press conference Tuesday, officials at the podium said at least twice "We will not be taking any questions." A common forewarning to reporters to NOT ask any follow-up questions or challenge what has been proposed up to that point by investigators. The local, regional and national media for the most part, complied with the firm directive.

Before the "presser" even began, some media members had been told privately by law enforcement representatives, that they were not not to ask any questions. The same message was stated publicly again before any official comment began in front of open microphones at the podium.

Postiv Press- "How was Nichole killed?"

Source- "She was murdered. she was murdered. Police told us that if she did know what was happening, It was fast. and she didn't suffer much IF she even saw it coming."

Sources with a law enforcement background have told Positiv Press that "the boy" killed Nicole. The boy did it" but Nicole was too heavy for him to carry and that Natalie Keepers (the second Virginia Tech student charged in this horrific murder), met Eisenhauer at the Duck Pond and together they carried Nicole's bloody body to Keepers car. The two moved secretly and stealthily in the dark morning hours, leaving a trail of blood that would eventually speak of the crime committed.

Positiv Press has learned that Keepers and Eisenhauer drove around for a short while, unable to agree on where to dump the young girls lifeless body. As the couple argued frantically, Nicole lay in the trunk wrapped in the green Minion's blanket she brought for what she may have thought would be a simply sweet moment with an 18 year old Virginia Tech track athlete, who sources say pretended to show interest in a young girl who so desperately wanted to be loved.

The young couple, drenched in Nicole's blood, eventually settled on Lowgap in Surry County, North Carolina.

Eisenhauer and Keepers pulled off of Route 89 and carried the lifeless body just off the road.

Sources say the couple tried hiding Nicole's body in the snow. They'd hoped a prolonged Winter and more snow would hide her body for months, long enough so that when her body was eventually discovered, the corpse would not lead authorities back to the engineering students.

On Sunday, January 31st four days after Nicole's murder, local, state and federal law enforcement officers gathered about a mile down Craig's Creek Road in Montgomery County, eight miles from where Lovell was killed. They refused to speak about why there were there or if it was in connection with the Lovell investigation.

Hours after police learned of the murder, teams of officers and agents were and continue looking in dumpsters and ravines. A methodical search that includes grids and GPS points. A confluence of deputies, sanitation and utility workers who've been told to "keep an eye out'' for any cell phones or electronic devices they find while performing their jobs.

Positiv Press is told that neither Lovell's nor Eisenhauer's cell phones have been found.

From almost the start investigators have been calling both phones but neither device rings. Instead both go straight to voicemail, an indicator that the phone has been shut off or has run out of battery power and shut off automatically.

This journalist has been told that almost from the beginning, Keepers has been speaking freely to police, confessing to throwing Lovell's cell phone into the chilly, dark waters of the Duck Pond.

What happened to Eisenhauer's cell phone remains unclear.

Finding those cell phones is primordial for police. They can provide a minute by minute electronic display of when Eisenhauer and Lovell corresponded and through cell phone pings, can also approximate where they were.

Cell phone service providers routinely work with law enforcement agencies to retrieve that information, but oftentimes, for legal reasons, lawyers advise providers to not cooperate without a subpoena.

News agencies follow the same protocol.

Source- Eisenhauer "lured Nichole out to do what he did."

HOW DID POLICE KNOW TO SEARCH FOR DAVID EISENHAUER?

Sources tell Positiv Press that after Eisenhauer and Keepers made the 90 mile trip back to Blacksburg from Surry County, NC., they each went back to their respective dorms on the Virginia Tech campus. Both agreed and swore to not tell anyone. This sinister secret would have to stay with them alone, or else.

Eisenhauer, sources say, went back to his room where almost immediately he opened a beer and "was upset after the fact and threw a beer against the wall."

Sources say Eisenhauer's roommates have been speaking with police and have offered a detailed description of his behavior from the moment he came back onto campus.

Keepers went back to her dorm where she was eventually arrested by Virginia Tech Police.

Keepers, sources say, almost immediately told a friend what she and Eisenhauer had just done.

That friend told another and soon campus police were called. Authorities soon put out an electronic bulletin asking if anyone knew of Eisenhauer's whereabouts. Soon police received more than 200 tips and the search for Nicole's murderer was on.

Investigators, many who have kids of their own, told Nicole's family "These two people [Eisenhauer and Keepers] are evil. They got evil in 'em. They even looked evil when they were arrested."

Positiv Press has learned that detectives have also been canvassing the neighborhood speaking with Nicole's friends.

Officers were able to gain access to various social media accounts that linked up with Lovell's Facebook, Kik, Skype and other online platforms. Detectives learned, that not unlike other teens, Nicole had a second, secret Facebook page. It was on that second previously unknown page that Eisenhauer's face and name appeared and where police began unraveling the murder mystery that was born online.

Police spoke with children who rode Nicole's school bus who told them that David's last name sounded like it began with an "A or something like that." Remember, sources confirm that Nicole had proclaimed several times to other kids on the bus that she "had a date with an 18 year old named David."

Investigators have also learned of several other adult males who were "soliciting Nicole to send them nude photos but she didn't do it. She wrote back and told them 'I can't send you that photo, that's illegal, that's pornographic. One man allegedly responded back 'No it's not." Nicole said 'Yes it is because you know I'm not 18."

Positiv Press has also learned EXCLUSIVELY that Lovell may have previously met with at least two other men whom she became acquainted with through online dating sites aimed at teenagers.

Sources say the young girl met strangers at Wendy's restaurant on South Main in Blacksburg and Nellies Cave Park, a town-maintained park within walking distance of Lantern Ridge apartments where Nicole lived with her Mother, siblings and Grandparents.

Police also have learned of a Skype account linked to Lovell where they allegedly found what appear to be semi-nude images of the 13 year old girl.

Sources tell Positiv Press that Tammy Weeks, Nicole's mother, had no idea her daughter had these secret accounts or that she was possibly sending inappropriate images.

Positiv Press is told that detectives are working on tracking down those who had any sort of online relationship with Nicole Lovell that appears to be odd or inappropriate.

One source told this journalist a screen shot existed from Nicole's Facebook page where her alleged killer, David Eisenhauer asked Nichole, "Whats your favorite flower?" The 13 year old, who was still shedding baby fat, wrote back "Roses!" Eisenhauer responded in text, "OK, when I come, I will bring you some."

Why would so many sources share so much personal, horrific and sad information about a dead little girl?

Family, friends and police, in one form or another have said with great sadness, that other parents need to know what happened. How an app on a child's cell phone may have played a major role in her murder.

Nicole "Coley" Lovell was at a difficult time in her life. Teen angst and all the emotions that come with it. Young girls and boys fumble and stumble their way this potentially soul-destroying chapter.

Nicole, in her 13 year old mind was in love - puppy love - ''but she opened her window for the wrong person."

Police divers have been searching a pond on the Virginia Tech campus, but authorities would not say what they were looking for. Police spokeswoman Corrinne Geller would not say what officials were trying to find. Her body was found on Saturday in Surry County, North Carolina, which is near the Virginia border, police said.

Did anyone notice how her Dad wasn’t close to her, and said he didn’t live with them, but yet he was first to post on his Facebook page about her murder and how HE was affected, not her mother or grandparents who took care of her every day. He also immediately got on the Dr. Phil show to “talk” about being the parent of murdered child and Internet predators. He is a joke. You don’t see the mom doing all that, because she is at home, tore up, grieving, just trying to cope, while the dad is being an attention whore. Good job, Dad, good job.

They emptied the pond looking for the April 16th gunman’s hard drive and never found anything. Needle in a haystack

This is typical. I don’t know of the relationship between the mother and father but father’s tend to be ATM’s around here if they have money. Which they rarely do.

They had a vigil for Lovell on Tech’s campus last night which caused a small disturbance online.
