What COULD he do? Granted he was not an ‘’activist’’, but when did he ever ADVOCATE for ‘’choice’’?
You know. There are way too many pastors & televangelists, especially, who cheat on their wives. I know of one, in particular, who currently has a megachurch here that not only betrayed his original family, but split his original congregation in two (including the family of the woman he married) & started a divorce & re-coupling cascade that included my step-dad, his ex wife & my extended family from there, out.
So don’t talk to me about cheaters. Let whoever is without sin cast the first stone. And not one person did.
As for ‘pretending he’s the Pope’, I believe you’re projecting your candidate onto mine. I know of no Pope who has ever claimed that he would right the things that had gone wrong in a country & restore that country to it’s former greatness.
Donald Trump will be a SECULAR president, but he has said that he will act to protect Christians in America & elsewhere & be a friend to Israel. I BELIEVE HE WILL. THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO BELIEVE HIM.

DH is Catholic & does the confession thing. I’m Church of Christ sometimes attending a Southern Baptist church, so I don’t believe in that, but I stay out of it. IT IS BETWEEN HIM & GOD.

You’re right. I believe every word he’s said about his belief in government paying for healthcare for everyone. And I believe every word he said those 16 years ago and haven’t heard any since that would change my mind about him. So you be secure in your beliefs and I’ll be secure in mine. Only time will prove who’s was correct.
