After accusing Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) of "illegally" stealing a win from the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump said Wednesday that he'll "probably" sue over the results of the vote.
Trump said this in an interview on Boston Herald Radio
When asked if he would file a formal complaint over the caucuses' results, Trump replied, "probably."
"What [Cruz] did is unthinkable," Trump said, later stating that Cruz was a "really fraudulent" character.
Earlier in the day, Trump fired off a raging tweetstorm accusing Cruz of cheating in Iowa. Trump even suggested the Republican Party take the unprecedented step of holding a do-over election in Iowa or nullifying Cruz's results.

For someone who could possibly run the table starting in New Hampshire, Trump is hurting himself unnecessarily over this strange obsession with Iowa. You got one less delegate than Cruz, an infinitesimal setback when the big picture is taken into account. Don’t give the American people more views of your ugly side. Take your lumps and move on, and please stick to the issues which are critical in this most important of elections.
It’s looking more and more like cruise actually did cheat.
And if he did promulgate the lie he should be punished legally.
Cheaters should be punished when they violate the rules of the contest.
Until just two or three years ago cruise was a dual citizenship individual.
He renounced his Canadian citizenship at that time.
I don’t think he believed he could be president if he was a Canadian citizen.
Now he says he’s not a Canadian citizen but I think if you’ve been a citizen of another country within the last 4-5 years you really shouldn’t be allowed to run for president I think he will get sued for that as well and lose
Wow he’s unravelling. Disappointing.
No doubt.
“Wish I had kept my old sign from 2000 days, good memories doing Freeps.”
I remember those days as well!!
My wife and I were with Freepers in L.A. when that was going on.
Those were the days!
Wow Trump is going to win NH in few days by double digits.
Donald Trump got cheated in Iowa.
Donald Trump is not rolling over, he's fighting back.
All POS Republicans roll over. Over and over.
In the General, the Democrats are going to:
- Bus in the homeless
- Register ExCons
- Encourage voting more than one
- Encourage MILLIONS of Illegals to vote
- Rig the polling places
- Rig the touch screens
...and you're telling a candidate who is unwill to take and will fight to the death to take what's rightfully his is a bad thing?
Simpletons.
CNN never said Carson was dropping out...that was a lie ginned up by a Cruz operative and laundered through Rep Steve King’s twitter account to the Cruz campaign who deliberately spread it to all their precinct captains with instructions to bring the “news” to the attention of Carson caucus goers.
It was a sleazy dirty trick that’s gonna bite St Theodore in his hind quarters.
Good luck with it.
Trump is looking petty trying to change a result he doesn’t like.
If there’s fraud, he needs proof.
How do people stand a guy who can’t take losing with grace and dignity?
Rush has done his level best to be even handed during this increasingly absurd primary. His having a kind word for someone you don’t like doesn’t mean he’s pimping them.
Or maybe it does since Rush is an establishment insider hack pulling for the elites to some around here now. And something something Goldman Sachs.
You should read all the posts that came before the Cruz campaign tweet.
He better be careful...
He may be committing defamation.
Trump’s short speech after losing in Iowa impressed me. This latest outburst from him is really stupid. I wonder if he really wants to win. Maybe he likes being in the spotlight but doesn’t really want to be President.
Uh huh.
And now he demands a recount.
Of course if he won, he would have claimed every one loves me.
Uh, no they don’t.
They simply reported the same thing CNN did - and hinted at the logical inference.
Be honest. When you hear a candidate is not going on to NH and SC and wants to go home to “rest,” it is not crazy or duplicitous to assume he is dropping out.
Carson’s own staffers took the same inference.
Hahaha, the crybaby just said yesterday that Iowa is “meaningless.” Now he’s hollering like a stuck pig. LOL
The Litigator-In-Chief. “New York Values.”

You jumped the shark.
Cruz is no saint. But he is sane.
