If Cruz is natural born and eligible then why not a Saudi- born candidate with an American mother and Saudi father? Or a candidate born in Red China or N. Korea? Cruz is attempting to impose a terrible precedent.
The Constitution imposed the precedent. Candidates also have to live here for 14 years before being eligible.
If an American soldier stationed in Saudi Arabia gives birth, that baby is an American and not SA.
