A ‘stunning win’ gets you more than one delegate than the next winner.
Trump’s win was more stunning and glorious considering he hadn’t the (almost) one year invested in time, in IA and the fact he’s not a seasoned politician.
Cruz’s apology to Carson says that Cruz did not necessarily win the vote totals.
Also, like you say, he got one more delegate than 2nd and 3rd place.
Also, he was EXPECTED to win. When you do win after being expected to win, then there aren’t a lot of bragging rights to spread around.
Iowa isn’t about delegates. It’s about shaping the field. Unfortunately for Trump, Rubio has a new life and the forces that run the party and conservative media are going to abandon Bush/Kasich/Christie for Rubio. So will the money. Rubio will win easily if it comes down to a 1-on-1. Trump would have been better off letting Cruz win the day and not letting Rubio creep up from 10% to 23%.
Exactly what I was thinking. 8-7-7-3-1 is “stunning”?
Ain’t that the truth! Levin wants to claim the MSM was all in against Teddy? When did that happen? All I heard was hate Trump being beat into mush heads.
Levin, the gift that keeps on giving. Go cry to your new squeeze.
