That is not the only tweet that came out about it. But if you watch the video as well, they talk about how strange it is for Carson to be announcing that he was going home and to DC, and that Carson had already said he would be making an announcement later that evening whether the caucuses were finished or not. So it was not unreasonable to assume Carson was going to announce he was suspending his campaign before going home. It was wrong, but not unreasonable.

Yeah all assumptions and speculation. Remember what the word assume breaks down into. It’s never smart to base any sort of rational conclusion on assumptions and speculation. You’d think Team Cruz would know that.

It WAS unreasonable to make that assumption during the caucuses, speaking as if it was fact.
