But Cruz embellished the ‘breaking information’, to make it sound like Carson was leaving.

For one who is supposedly not part of the establishment, he sure jumped on something from the establishment media without checking. A simple call to Carson would’ve been easy. Carson’s wife was also present at one of the caucuses, and disputed what the Cruz spokesperson was spreading. Once she did that, word could’ve gotten to all of the Cruz campaign to stop that tactic - if they had wanted to.

Cruz did apologize - because he was caught. Too little, too late to help Dr. Carson.

But Cruz embellished the "breaking information",

No, Cruz didn't - Steve King did. I know you hate Cruz because he is challenging Trump, but at least get your facts straight. You could say "the Cruz Campaign", or "a Cruz supporter" and be relatively accurate. But you have to try to make it sound like this was a dastardly deed done by none other than Cruz himself.

Once she did that, word could've gotten to all of the Cruz campaign to stop that tactic - if they had wanted to.

And you have absolute knowledge that the Cruz representative at that particular caucus had the ability to instantly communicate with all other members of the Cruz team with that information?
