Nobody's pure, and nobody is ever free of making mistakes.

Sometimes it's the type of mistake that you have to consider.

Rubio's gang of eight membership indicates that he is still unprepared to be the leader. He was snookered by the sly old foxes.

His position on amnesty maybe correct but he has not laid the groundwork for his conclusion. In any case it is too soon to open that can of worms. That also points to his lack of seasoning.

A couple of terms in the senate and maybe a couple as governor of Florida and he will be an attractive candidate.

The “purity” issue is concerning.

Levin was somewhat defending himself against being a “conservative purist” a charge that was coming from the establishment as an attack.

Levin’s point was that upholding the basic principles of conservatism is not being a purist, especially when so many Republicans (who pretend to be conservatives) give away every principle.

That Rush is talking about no one being a “pure” conservative, combined with his sudden claims that Rubio is not a RINO and combined with his sudden defense of Megyyyyn Kelly adds up to the very strong possibility that he received a phone call from someone who got him on board.

Either that or he’s lining Meggyyyyyn up to be his next wife.
